My Sweepstakes is a technology platform provider only. It is not a promoter, organiser or operator of competitions, sweepstakes, prize draws or events of any kind. All events run through this platform are privately organised and operated by the hosting organisation.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the My Sweepstakes platform. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

My Sweepstakes provides technology services only. IT Remedies Ltd is a software and technology services provider. My Sweepstakes is not a promoter, operator, organiser or sponsor of any competition, prize draw, sweepstake or event conducted through the Platform.

The Hosting Organisation is solely responsible for the lawful operation of any Event. By engaging My Sweepstakes, the Hosting Organisation acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for ensuring that their Event is run in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and codes of practice.
The Hosting Organisation is responsible for:
The Hosting Organisation confirms that they have full authority to enter into the arrangement with IT Remedies Ltd and that use of the Platform for their Event is lawful.
Participants in any Event access the Platform as guests of the Hosting Organisation. The relationship governing Participant entry into an Event exists exclusively between the Participant and the Hosting Organisation — not between the Participant and IT Remedies Ltd.
By accessing the Platform as a Participant, you acknowledge:
IT Remedies Ltd does not handle participant funds under any circumstances. My Sweepstakes charges a flat platform licence fee to the Hosting Organisation. All prize funds, entry contributions (if any) and financial arrangements relating to an Event remain entirely under the control and responsibility of the Hosting Organisation.

The Hosting Organisation is solely responsible for ensuring their Event complies with all applicable laws and regulations. IT Remedies Ltd does not provide legal, regulatory or compliance advice.
Depending on the nature, structure and jurisdiction of an Event, applicable laws may include but are not limited to:
It is the Hosting Organisation's responsibility to take independent legal advice where necessary. IT Remedies Ltd strongly recommends that any Hosting Organisation considering charging entry fees, pooling funds or offering prizes of significant value seeks qualified legal advice before proceeding.
IT Remedies Ltd reserves the right to decline, suspend or terminate platform services if it believes an Event may be operating unlawfully, without being required to provide reasons.
All intellectual property rights in the My Sweepstakes platform, including its design, code, scoring algorithms, user interface and associated materials, are owned by or licensed to IT Remedies Ltd. Nothing in these terms transfers any such rights to a Hosting Organisation or Participant.
The Hosting Organisation grants IT Remedies Ltd a limited, non-exclusive licence to use their branding, logos and materials solely for the purpose of configuring and displaying their Event on the Platform.
IT Remedies Ltd processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
In the context of Events run through the Platform:
IT Remedies Ltd will not use Participant data for any purpose other than operating the Platform on behalf of the Hosting Organisation, and will not sell or disclose such data to third parties except as required by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms limits IT Remedies Ltd's liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Hosting Organisation agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless IT Remedies Ltd and its officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, penalties, fines or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
IT Remedies Ltd will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the Platform is available during agreed event periods. However, IT Remedies Ltd does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform and shall not be liable for any downtime caused by factors beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to hosting provider outages, third-party data feed interruptions or force majeure events.
Scheduled maintenance will be communicated to Hosting Organisations with reasonable notice where possible, and will be planned to avoid active event periods wherever practicable.
IT Remedies Ltd reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version, together with its effective date, will always be published on this page. Continued use of the Platform following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Where changes are material, IT Remedies Ltd will endeavour to notify Hosting Organisations with whom it has active arrangements by email prior to the changes taking effect.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
